Pain Toolkit online workshops for people with persistent pain

Your experienced Pain Toolkit Coaches are:

  • Pete Moore
  • Grainnie Daniels
  • Experiened self manager Dave Oxley

Overview

  • 6 - 8 people attend each workshop and last for mins
  • During the workshop, we have built in a pacing breaks so you are not sitting or standing for a long time
  • Each participant will be sent simple instruction video, about how to join the workshop
  • There will be ample time for everyone to speak during the workshop.
  • We want the workshop to be interactive and have time for discussion
  • On each workshop, a PowerPoint will be used as a guide for useful information.

What you will need to take part?

Computer, tablet or mobile phone with a camera which also an internal or external microphone.

During the workshop, please can you find a quiet place, so you are not interrupted.

How to join the workshop?

Once you have registered and paid, participants will be sent a dedicated Zoom login, for the workshop. It cannot be used on any others.

Pain Toolkit workshop overview

  • Introductions and workshop guidelines
  • In this workshop Pete will walk participants through the 5 Pain Self Management skills others have used to self-manage their pain.

5 Pain & Self-Management skills

  • Goal setting / Action planning
  • Pacing daily activities
  • Problem solving
  • Meaningful movement, keeping active, stretching and exercise
  • Knowing what to do if something goes wrong (have a setback plan)

How much does it cost?

Cost to attend the workshop is only £25.00 (this does not include in the cost of the registration fee, Eventbrite changes)
